I just love red carpet jewelry. One of my favorite events of the year is the Oscars, because the stars seem to break out their best jewels. More often than not, red carpet jewelry is a little OTT. But that doesn’t matter, because it is so irresistibly pretty that many of us can’t resist adding it to our collections.

1. Roberto Coin Diamond Cut Cuff
Viola Davis wore an extravagant diamond cuff bracelet to the 2014 Oscars. Like all great red carpet jewelry pieces, it took decadence to the extremes. What I really love about cuffs is that they are so chunky they don’t fly up and down your arm unnecessarily. This isn’t the exact piece Viola wore, but it gives you a great idea of what to aim for!
2. Sam Edelman Pearl Paradise Spike Stud Earrings
Lupita Nyong’o didn’t just steal our hearts when it came to her beautiful acceptance speech. Her earrings were breath taking too! Gold spike earrings don’t have to be garish, and that is exactly what these Sam Edelman pieces prove. They frame the bottom of your ears just perfectly, and draw attention to your smile!

3. Kendra Scott Danielle Earrings
I was so pleased when I left school and I was able to wear dangly earrings again. I always attended strict schools that banned them, to prevent injuries! Olivia Wilde wore a fabulous pair of dangling earrings at the Oscars. You can steal her look by investing in your very own, and probably for a fraction of the price.
4. Juicy Couture Crystal and Stone Necklace
Naomi Watts was incredibly demure as far as her necklines were concerned, but her necklaces were not! I think that is a great style trick, as it really drew attention to her beautiful face. Statement necklaces come in all shapes and sizes. However, I am a big fan of this Juicy Couture one, as it makes great use of crystals.
5. Stephen Webster Super Stud Small Square Ring
I am no fan of boring rings. The brighter they are, the better. Maria Menounos was wearing a beautiful purple stoned ring at the Oscars this year, and I can’t wait to mimic it! This Stephen Webster super stud ring is a great place to start as far as inspiration is concerned.
The Stephen Webster Super Stud Small Square Ring captivates the eye with its edgy design and luxurious appeal. Much like the show-stopping jewelry often spotted on red carpets, this piece embodies the glamour with its intricate details and the bold statement it makes. Whether paired with an evening gown or elevating a casual outfit, this ring promises to channel your inner celebrity style. Get ready to turn heads and bask in the limelight of fashion-forward excellence. With this ring on your finger, you'll effortlessly capture the essence of red carpet elegance.

6. Roberto Coin Snake Bangle
Back to lovely Lupita again! As well as wearing those stunning stud earrings, she donned a gold snake bangle. This Roberto Coin snake bangle is incredibly similar, but it isn’t the exact bangle Lupita wore. In general, bangles that snake around the wrist are huge this season!
7. Roper Glitter Canvas Slip Ons
Who says the jewels you wear have to hang around your neck, wrist, or finger? Johnny Weir wore glittering loafers, so maybe you could follow suit! There was a time when I detested these things, but they have seriously grown on me in recent years. I think the rest of your outfit has to delicately complement them, but they are certainly doable.
So there you have it, some red carpet jewelry inspiration for the next time you want to impress on a night out! Many are bold, all are beautiful. Unlike the stars, you can probably get your hands on some for high street prices. If there is a red carpet jewelry item you love, what is it?
